The Travel Lion membership is designed to help members request travel, compare options, access member opportunities, and earn eligible Cash Rewards on qualifying completed bookings.

Membership does not guarantee a specific rate, discount, reward amount, supplier approval, or travel availability. All travel is subject to supplier terms, availability, and final confirmation.

Rewards

Cash Rewards

Eligible members may earn Cash Rewards on qualifying travel reservations booked through The Travel Lion. Cash Rewards are reviewed after travel has been completed, verified, and reconciled with the applicable supplier or travel partner.

Reserve eligible travel through The Travel Lion.

Step 2Complete Trip

Travel must be completed without cancellation or refund.

Step 3Verify

Supplier payments and booking details are reviewed.

Step 4Approve

Eligible rewards move from pending to available.

Step 5Issue Reward

Approved rewards may be issued by Visa Gift Card or another approved method.

When Rewards Become Available

Rewards are not available immediately after booking. They become available only after eligible travel is completed, verified, and all supplier reconciliation periods have concluded.

How Rewards Are Paid

Approved Cash Rewards may be fulfilled through a prepaid Visa Gift Card or another reward method selected by The Travel Lion, subject to verification and applicable law.

Important Reward Terms

  • Cash Rewards are promotional loyalty rewards until approved and issued.
  • Cash Rewards are not a bank account, cash deposit, stored-value account, or vested property right before issuance.
  • Rewards cannot be sold, assigned, transferred, redeemed, or exchanged for cash before issuance.
  • Rewards may be adjusted, delayed, reduced, withheld, or revoked due to cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, supplier adjustments, booking changes, duplicate claims, suspected fraud, program abuse, or violations of these Terms.
  • After a reward is issued as a prepaid Visa Gift Card, use is governed by the issuing financial institution's Cardholder Agreement and applicable laws.
  • The Travel Lion may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Cash Rewards program, except where prohibited by law.

Booking Terms

Hotels & Resorts

Rates, taxes, fees, room types, deposits, resort fees, cancellation rules, and availability are controlled by hotels and travel suppliers. Pricing may change until confirmed.

Flights

Airfare changes frequently and is not guaranteed until ticketed and confirmed by the airline or supplier. Airline baggage rules, changes, refunds, and credits are controlled by the airline.

Cruises

Cruise pricing, cabin selection, deposits, final payment dates, promotions, cancellation rules, and onboard terms are controlled by the cruise line or approved supplier.

Vacation Packages

Package components may include separate supplier terms. Changes to one component may affect pricing, availability, cancellation rules, or reward eligibility.

Group Travel

Group rates, deposits, room blocks, contracts, attrition, deadlines, and payment terms are supplier-specific and must be reviewed before confirmation.

Travel Documents

Members are responsible for valid identification, passports, visas, entry requirements, health requirements, and compliance with all destination and supplier rules.

Member Travel Support

The Travel Lion concierge team helps members request hotels, flights, cruises, resorts, vacation packages, group travel, and luxury travel options. Concierge support is a request and assistance service. It does not guarantee availability, pricing, supplier acceptance, upgrades, refunds, or reward approval.

Privacy

Privacy Promise

The Travel Lion collects and uses member information only as needed to provide membership services, process travel requests, assist with reservations, administer Cash Rewards, verify bookings, communicate with members, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Member information is not sold for advertising purposes. Payment card information, when applicable, is processed by secure third-party payment providers. The Travel Lion does not store full payment card numbers.

Is membership really free?
Yes. The Travel Lion membership is complimentary to join. There is no monthly membership fee required to access the basic member experience.
What are Cash Rewards?
Cash Rewards are promotional member loyalty rewards that eligible members may earn on qualifying travel booked through The Travel Lion and completed in accordance with these Terms.
When do I receive my Cash Reward?
Rewards are reviewed after travel is completed, verified, and reconciled with the applicable supplier. Timing may vary depending on the hotel, airline, cruise line, travel partner, payment cycle, refund window, or booking status.
How are Cash Rewards paid?
Approved rewards may be fulfilled by prepaid Visa Gift Card or another reward method selected by The Travel Lion. Issued gift cards are subject to the issuing financial institution's terms.
Why is my reward pending?
A reward may remain pending while travel is still upcoming, while supplier payment is being confirmed, while refund periods are open, or while the booking is being verified for eligibility.
Can my reward amount change?
Yes. Rewards may be adjusted or removed if the booking is changed, cancelled, refunded, charged back, not completed, not eligible, duplicated, or affected by supplier adjustments.
Are hotel prices guaranteed?
No. Travel prices are controlled by suppliers and can change until confirmed. Taxes, fees, availability, room types, and cancellation rules may also change before booking is finalized.
Can I cancel a booking?
Cancellation rules depend on the supplier and the booking terms you accepted at the time of purchase. Some travel may be refundable, partially refundable, credit-only, or non-refundable.
Can someone else use my rewards?
Cash Rewards are connected to the member account and may not be sold, assigned, transferred, or exchanged before issuance unless The Travel Lion approves otherwise in writing.
